Pro Bono Web Design for Nonprofits

iQyra offers free websites and IT solutions to selected nonprofits. We can build a new site, rebuild an existing one, or add functionality your organization needs. You cover the domain, hosting, and any third-party services; we define the project scope together before work begins.

The program is for registered nonprofits that need development help but lack an agency budget or an in-house developer. We work with nonprofits in any country.

01

Who the Program Is For

We consider organizations with publicly verifiable nonprofit status, a mission our team is comfortable supporting, and the means to cover the site's running costs. You will also need someone who can provide materials, answer questions, and review the work.

Our selection considers both the value of the project to your organization and whether we can deliver it within our capacity. We do not take on political projects or missions we are not comfortable publicly supporting. Capacity is limited because pro bono work runs alongside our commercial projects.

Applying does not guarantee a place. We review each application individually and let you know whether we can take it on.

02

What We Can Build

A project might be a small organization website, a rebuild that makes an existing site easier to manage, or a specific feature such as a volunteer form or donation-service connection.

Before starting, we define the pages, features, responsibilities, and criteria for accepting the finished work. Design, copywriting, content migration, and integrations are discussed as part of that scope; everything is open to discussion.

The aim is a useful site your organization can run on its own. So we do not chase feature count: each one adds build time and recurring costs the nonprofit carries.

03

What Is Free and What You Pay For

ItemResponsibility
Development within the accepted project scopeProvided by iQyra at no charge
Domain registration and renewalsPaid by your organization
Hosting and any paid third-party toolsPaid by your organization
Payment-processing or donation-platform feesPaid by your organization under the provider's terms
Content, approvals, and a project contactResponsibilities defined before work begins

We look for suitable free or low-cost tools where they meet the project's needs. We also explain recurring expenses before you commit to them. A free provider plan may have limits, so the choice depends on what your site needs to do.

You do not pay to take part. We ask for two things: a short testimonial and a "Made by iQyra" credit link in the site footer. This is a normal part of pro bono work.

From Application to Launch

  1. 01

    Tell us what you need.

Share your organization's website, mission, proof of nonprofit status, and the problem you want to solve. If you do not have a website, describe what you need it to do.

  2. 02

    We review the fit.

We consider the project, your resources, and our capacity, then give you a decision.

  3. 03

    We define the work together.

We document the scope, external costs, responsibilities, and post-launch terms.

  4. 04

    We build and review.

Your point of contact supplies materials and reviews the work with us.

  5. 05

    We launch and hand over.

We deploy the site, provide the relevant access, and show you how to make routine content changes.

A clear point of contact helps keep the project moving. Before work starts, we identify the content and decisions we need from your team.

06

Managing the Site After Launch

You receive editing access and guidance on using the site. The project agreement sets out rights to the deliverables, account access, and any third-party licenses.

For routine support, collect your requests into one list and send no more than one batch per week. The agreement defines what support covers, how long it lasts, response expectations, and how defects are handled. The weekly schedule does not mean unlimited development each week. We also establish how to report a fault that prevents the site from working.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the website completely free?+

Our development work within the accepted scope is free. Your organization pays external expenses such as the domain, hosting, and third-party services.

Can we apply from any country?+

Yes. We ask for publicly verifiable nonprofit status, such as an entry in the relevant register or other appropriate documentation.

Can you rebuild an existing website?+

Yes. Tell us what is difficult to use or maintain and what you want to improve. We assess the work as an individual project.

Do we provide a link to iQyra and a testimonial?+

Yes. A short testimonial and a "Made by iQyra" footer credit link are a normal part of pro bono work. You still pay nothing to take part.

Will we be able to edit the site ourselves?+

We provide editing access and explain how to make routine changes. We define the editing setup and the types of changes it supports before development.
